We’re Proud To Support Local Producers
Here at The Cheese Game we are pleased to support local producers, which is why we stock a large selection of locally produced cheeses.
All our suppliers who are based in and around County Durham produce cheeses of the highest quality and are known locally for their unique tastes and textures.
Local cheese manufacturers usually produce smaller quantities of speciality cheese which means they give more time and care into the production of their product. This attention to producing such a high quality product is preferred by local restaurateurs and pubs who are only too pleased to support local producers.
Most of these popular speciality cheeses are stocked at our store and are available for purchase on our website.

Embleton Hall Durham Butter
The rich, deep, creamy taste of Durham butter is no accident. We think that food is at its best when it’s kept natural and fresh, with as little “messing about with” as possible. That’s why Embleton Hall make it the old-fashioned way, just as their grandparents did, traditionally farm-churned with patience, care and proper attention to detail.
